PACKAGE DEVICE FOR PR PACKAGING TR
The invention relates to a packing device for press-packing trees according to the preamble of claim 1.
Various methods for pressing and packing Christmas trees, ornaments and similar plant materials are known, for example, from International Patent Application WO9742085 A1 or DK 171396 B1.
In the known methods, the trees are pressed and, by means of a frame, mostly a wooden frame, kept in shape and attached to pallets.
However, this method, in particular for the retail sale of the trees, carries some disadvantages. The problem is, first of all, the non-standard form of the pallets used, which mostly do not comply with the EU pallet target. Furthermore, the height of the stacked trees usually exceeds a height of 2.4 m, resulting in a very high weight of a pressed tree bale of partially over 1500 kg. For erection, the pallets used require a flat surface and tend to overturn already when working in the field, which implies an extreme safety risk. Furthermore, the usual filigree construction method of the wooden frames leads to these easily breaking into work in the field. Also, in the known systems, the usual high working height during filling of the package device with trees in practice poses a high security risk.
The object of the invention is thus to provide a packing device for press-packing of trees, which allows for simple and safe handling, which is used independently of pallets and wooden frames, and does not require high working heights or loading flat.
The invention solves this task with a package device of the above-mentioned kind having the characteristics specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. According to the invention, the packing device comprises a control device for fasteners for fixing the pressed bales, wherein the control device comprises at least one guide rail located along the deposition surface and end wall of the base frame, and wherein the fastening means is guided along the guide rail so that the bales are enclosed in at least part of the fastener.
DK 2018 70536 A1
By virtue of the direction of the pressing process in relation to the end wall, it is possible to fill the package device flat or from the side, and after the pressing process, for example, to lace the press material to bales by means of the fastening means. These bales can then be handled independently of pallets and heavy frame structures, are smaller and lighter than pallet-borne bales and allow for simple storage even in retail.
Such packed bales can also be rolled directly into the field or, for example, on sales stands, simply and manually to a designated storage space without the use of additional equipment or stackers, which is an advantage in especially narrow work areas, such as Christmas markets or in dense forests.
Further advantageous embodiments of the device are described in the characteristics of the dependent claims.
In order for the fastener to be effortlessly guided at least in part by a pressed bale, at least one retaining means for reversibly fastening the fastener may be provided on the guide rail.
To enable a particularly simple fixation of a pressed bale, the guide rail may be arranged extending along the cover and shear member of the pressing device so that the fastener in the pressed state of the bale is passed completely around the bale.
For providing a packing device for securely packing various types of plant materials to be packaged, the holding means may be provided in the form of a hook and / or clamping device for reversibly securing one end of the fastener, and the fastener is cords, ribbons, ropes, straps. or chains.
In a particularly simple design embodiment of the invention, several openings may be arranged continuously along the guide rail, in which guiding means are provided for controlling the fastener, which elements can be reversibly inserted in the openings.
Particularly effective compaction of plant material to be pressed can be achieved by the displacement of the pressing device for reducing the pressing volume and for pressing and compressing the trees is telescopically displaceable substantially parallel to the deposition surface towards the end wall.
DK 2018 70536 A1
A particularly simple constructionally constructed embodiment of the invention can be provided, in which the shear piece can be formed as a right angle on the cover in the direction of the projecting surface projecting closed plate.
Loose vegetation and thinner trees can be compressed without being released from the shear, the shear being formed as a tear and exhibiting a number of parallels, in particular at right angles from the cover towards the deposition surface projecting. The shear piece thus acts as a tear and furthermore, due to the increased number of contact points on the trees, allows a gentle pressing of the trees.
In order that the package device can also be filled from above and not only from the side, it is provided that the cover is secured to the end wall and can be folded up via a hinge, preferably a hinge joint, in particular away from the deposition surface. Also for removing the pressed bales, the collapsible cover enables easier handling of the bales.
In order to make the pressing volume larger or smaller, the pressing device can advantageously have a lifting system where the lifting system is attached to the base frame and the cover can be displaced vertically along the back wall.
In order to work efficiently and faster, a machine support is advantageous. Therefore, the cover and / or shear piece may be provided movable hydraulically and / or via rope or chain pull and / or can be tilted. This saves the workers power and time, and the productivity of loading and unloading the package device can be increased.
The cover and shear member may be compactly constructed, the cover being comprised of several larger diameter profile tubes and several smaller diameter profile tubes, whereby the smaller diameter profile tubes can be sectionally stored in the larger diameter profile tubes and can be displaced axially. Because of this telescopic structure, it is possible to compress the trees very closely and to obtain very small and tightly packed bales.
An efficient and time-saving reading of the ready-pressed bales from the packing device can be obtained when a loading device is provided which
GB 2018 70536 A1 direction can be moved starting from the end wall in the direction towards the opposite end wall of the deposition surface for depositing the bales from the deposition surface.
The package device can be loaded faster when the base frame's deposition surface is bounded on both sides. In addition, on the opposite end wall of the deposition surface, there may be provided a right-angled, back-pressure-limiting rear wall which protrudes from the deposition surface, the rear wall in particular being folded inward or removed.
In order to be able to place the trees even more accurately in the package volume of the package device and thereby load them more efficiently, at least one side of the deposition surface may be provided, one side projecting from the cover perpendicular to the cover direction, the side volume limiting side. For loading the packing device with trees of different lengths, it may be advantageous for the sidewall to be displaced by means of shear means so that the width of the pressing volume can be increased.
When emptying the device, it is advantageous when the rear wall and / or side walls are arranged hinged on the deposition surface.
The weight of a packing device according to the invention can be reduced if the deposition surface and / or the end wall and / or the side wall and / or the back wall consist especially of parallel tubes arranged in parallel.
Also, for example, to be able to compress loose plant material, without any residue thereof remaining uncompressed on the deposition surface, the deposition surface and / or the back wall and / or the side wall may have slots, whereby the projections engage the slots in the deposition surface and / or in the slots in the back wall.
The manufacture of the packing device can be simplified in that the deposition surface and / or the back wall and / or the side wall consist of parallel tubes arranged at right angles from the deposition surface, whereby the projections on the shear protrude into and / or engage the spaces between the profile tubes / deposition or the back wall. In such a design of the packing device, only profile tubes must be welded together, and likewise
DK 2018 70536 A1 repairs, especially on the basic frame, can be easily carried out due to the weldable profile pipes.
In order to be able to transport the packing device quickly to a field - and also again transport it away - the packing device can preferably be attached to a towing vehicle, especially a tractor, and the packing device may in particular have wheels and carried by a towing vehicle, preferably as a trailer. Thus, it is also not necessary to dispose of the packing device to carry out the compression packing. This can easily be carried to the storage space for the trees to be packed, thereby reducing the way for the workers to the packing device when loading and emptying the packing device.
The control of the fastener for packing the bales around a pressed bale can be facilitated by the control means having a motor drive driven in particular by the traction vehicle.
In order to provide a particularly simple and compactly constructed package device, a number of reversibly attachable or clampable fixing means may be arranged along the guide rail, where the fastener inserted into the guide rail is held fixed in the guide rail by the fixing means.
Further advantages and embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the description and appended drawings.

FIG. 7 is a side view of another embodiment of the packing device; FIG. 8 is a side view of the second embodiment of the package device during the press operation,
FIG. 9 is a cross-sectional view taken through the deposition surface with trees placed thereon; and
FIG. 10 is a schematic view of the tension forces acting in a constricted bale.
FIG. 1 is a side view of a first embodiment of a packing device 10 according to the invention for compacting trees 9 and having a basic frame 1 and a pressing device 21 for horizontal pressing and compression of the trees 9. The basic frame 1 is an L-shaped welding structure consisting of profile tubes (Fig. 2) which are arranged parallel to each other. The L shape is formed by a deposition surface 11 and a perpendicular end wall 8 of the base frame 11 perpendicular to the deposition surface 11. By virtue of this configuration of the basic frame 1, a pressing volume 20 is defined for the trees 9, which pressing volume 20 has a larger volume than the finished bale 15. The length of the base frame 1 adjusts to the desired bale size and compressive density, but is preferably made such that the deposition surface 11 has the double width of a finished bale 15.
The base frame 1 can be supplemented with plates to form a closed deposition surface 11 or a closed end wall 8. Thus, loose materials such as branches or loose bushes can also be compressed without losing part of the press material.
The pressing device 21 serves to reduce the pressing volume 20 and comprises in the embodiment of FIG. 1 is a partially closed view, opposite the deposition surface 11, and the closing volume 20 of the cover 2. The cover 2 has an opposite end wall 8 lying with the displacement piece 6 extending towards the deposition surface 11.
Like the base frame 1, the cover 2 is constructed of profile tubes and is connected to the base frame 1 via a link at the upper end of the end wall 8. The link 13 is in this embodiment a hinge joint and allows for raising or tilting of the cover 2 relative to the base frame 1 around link 13. Thus, a simple on and off reading of the basic frame 1 is possible. The cover 2 can thereby optionally be folded upwards
DK 2018 70536 A1 via a rope and / or chain structure, via hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders or manually.
The cover 2 is designed as a two-piece structure, the main part being made up of hollow profiles, which via the link 13 are suspended on the end wall 8. The second part consists of smaller hollow profiles which are inserted with one end into the larger profile tube and can be displaced axially therein.
At the other end of the smaller hollow profiles, the displacement piece 6 is arranged. The displacement piece 6 also consists of profile tubes, is shaped like a tear and exhibits several perpendicular from the cover 2 downwards towards the deposition surface 11 projecting projections 12. The projections 12 thus act as fingers and engage the deposition surface 11 through the space of the profile tubes. By virtue of the telescopic shape of the profile tube of the cover 2, the displacement piece 6, at closed cover 2 and in the direction towards the link 13, can be pushed parallel to the deposition surface 11 in the direction towards the end wall 8 (Fig. 6). Thereby, the smaller diameter profile tubes slide axially into the larger diameter profile tubes 2 and the shear piece 6 is telescopically moved. The displacement process can be carried out hydraulically, pneumatically or via rope pull and / or chain pull.
On the opposite end wall 8 of the base frame 1, a loading compartment or pressurized volume 20 is arranged at the deposition surface 11. The rear wall 3, like the deposition surface 11 and the end wall 8, consists of parallel-mounted profile pipes and extends upwards at a right angle from the deposition surface 11 and can be tilted or removed at the connection between the rear wall 3 and the deposition surface 11. Thus, for example, the back wall 3 can be folded down after the compression process, thereby facilitating the emptying of the basic frame 1.
The base frame 1 is suspended by a three-point suspension 4 on the back of the end wall 8. The three-point suspension 4 serves to suspend the package device 10, as shown in FIG. 1, on an agricultural equipment such as a tractor or similar tractor 14. The three-point suspension 4 serves to transport the package device 10 and it can be mounted on the base frame 1 or alternatively directly on a trailer coupling or the like and has wheels so that the package device 10 can is carried as a trailer on a towing vehicle 14.
DK 2018 70536 A1
The packing device 10 comprises a control device 23 for fasteners 24 for fixing and packing pressed bales 15. The fasteners 24 may, for example, be the nature of the trees 9 or the plant material to be packed, for example cords, ribbons, ropes, belts or chains. For easier handling and easier positioning of the fasteners 24, these are already carried at least partially around the bale 15 by virtue of the control device 23.
For this purpose, the control device 23 each comprises its guide rails 16 located along the profile pipes of the deposition surface and the end wall 8 of the basic frame 1 (see Fig. 2 and Fig. 9). Thereby, the fastener 24 is always passed along each guide rail 16 or inserted therein. The guide rails 16 are positioned along the deposition surface 11 and the end wall 8 such that the guide rails 16 extend to the rear or over the pressed bale 15 so that the bale 15 is partially enclosed by the fastening means 24. The guide rails 16 advantageously prevent a displacement of the pre-inserted e.g. leash or ribbon during the press run. Thus, after pressing, for example, the ends of the cords or ribbons can be picked up by the guide rails 16, passed around the rest of the bale 15 and then tied in a knot, thereby saving working time and achieving faster operation.
On the laced bale 15, the fastening means 24 exert stronger forces (Fig. 10) in the horizontal direction than in the vertical direction, with the compression of the trees 9 being horizontal. By virtue of this asymmetric load on the fasteners 24 or cords, an almost rectangular bale shape is formed, whereby the compressed and laced bales 15 can be easily stacked. Furthermore, by virtue of the lacing of the bale 15, in comparison with press packing using pallets, side parts or bars are not necessary for packing the pressed trees 9.
In order to speed up the handling of the finished bales 15 in large companies or international transport, it is still possible to stack the bales 15 on EU pallets. For example, one can stack every two bales 15 side by side and / or over each other on an EU pallet, without the overall package being given a high height. Thus, stability is maintained and the bales 15 can be loaded and transported economically.
DK 2018 70536 A1
In FIG. 2, a bottom view of the device 10 is shown in the direction towards the deposition surface 11. The deposition surface 11 of the basic frame 1 consists of box-shaped profile pipes, the rear wall 3 being placed on these on the side with the free ends of the profile tubes. On the end wall 8 is arranged a three-point suspension 4 comprising a three-bar linkage system, as is found, for example, in any tractor for coupling or raising work equipment. In this case, for example, packing device 10 is provided, for example, with bolts or balls for fastening to the tractor.
In addition, on the deposition surface 11, side walls 5 are also placed over profile tubes and serve to laterally define the cargo space or press volume 20. Upon emptying, the sidewalls 5 can be removed, folded or pushed apart along the profile tubes arranged on the deposition surface 11, which serve as adjusting means. and gets fixed. Thereby, the deposition surface 11 can be adjusted to tree lengths of the trees 9 to be packed, for example 180 to 240 cm. The side walls 5 consist of profile tubes and the pressing volume 20 is limited by the side walls 5 and the back wall 3. By means of the press volume 20 thus provided, it is possible to stack the trees 9 in a simple manner, place them in the device 10 and prepare the press. or the packing process.
In FIG. 2, it is seen that a guide rail 16 extends along each profile tube in the deposition surface 11 and coupled thereto along each profile tube in the end wall 8, where in each of them a fastening means 24 is arranged at least partially around a pressed bale 15. Thus the pressed bale 15 is fixed in its longitudinal direction in several places. Thereby, a particularly good packing and shelf life of the bale 15 is obtained so that it does not end with an undesirable splitting of the bale 15 if one of the fastening means 24 is torn or damaged. In this case, the bale 15 is fixed in a sufficient number of additional locations so that the durability of the packed bale 15 is ensured.
The guide rails 16 extend along the profile tube of the deposition surface 11 so far in the direction towards the back wall 3 that the fastening means 24 inserted therein in the pressed state of the bale 15 is guided behind the bale 15. On the profile tube of the end wall 8, the guide rails 16 are arranged so that it inset fastener 24 is guided laterally upwardly against the pressed bale 15. This arrangement of guide rails 16 ensures that the ends of fastener 24 can be easily removed from guide.
The rails 16 are passed around the not yet enclosed portion of the ball 15 and effortlessly connected or bonded.
FIG. 3 shows a basic view of yet another embodiment of the packing device 10, in which the cover 2, the displacement piece 6 and the front part of the deposition surface profile tube are depicted. The displacement piece 6 is attached to the cover 2 by the smaller diameter profile tubes, which are then partially inserted and placed in the larger diameter profile tubes 2 of the cover 2. The finger-like projections 12 of the shear piece 6 intervene between the profile tubes in the deposition surface 11 and the back wall 3, so that even short plant material or trees 9 with thin stems can be compressed without being released from the shear piece 6 during the pressing process.
FIG. 4 is a schematic view of the placement of the trees 9 before being compressed. The trees 9 are stacked side by side or on top of each other up to the upper edge of the end wall 8 or the back wall 3. In FIG. 4 further illustrates how the trees 9 can be placed space-saving alternately with the tip of a tree 9 next to the foot of an additional tree 9.
FIG. 5 shows an embodiment of the invention in which the guide rails 16 of the control device 23 extend not only along the base frame 1, but also along the cover 2 and the displacement piece 6 in the pressing device 21, so that the fastening means 24 therein completely surrounds a pressed bale 15.
FIG. 6 then shows the result of the compression process with the first described embodiment of the invention with fully inserted shear piece 6. The smaller diameter profile tube of the cover 2 is completely recessed in the larger diameter profile tubes. Behind the shear piece 6, and thus between the shear piece 6 and the back wall 3, is seen the exposed area, which also shows the reduced volume. Through the course of the guide rails 16 of the control device 23 along the base frame 1, the cover 2 and the displacement piece 6, the fastening means 24 in the pressed state of the bale 15 is guided all the way around the bale 15. For a particularly simple fixation of the pressed bale 15 an automatic binding device may be arranged on the packing device 10, so that no additional manual work steps are required to bond the fastener 24. In FIG. 6, the trees 9 are shown in compressed and to a rectangular shape lined bale 15.
DK 2018 70536 A1
All embodiments of the invention with horizontal package orientation may also advantageously have a hoisting system attached to the base frame 1. The hoisting system enables the cover 2 to be vertically adjusted along the rear wall 8 so that the height of the preset press volume 20 can be varied, whereby also the height of the pre-pressed bale 15 can be adjusted flexibly.
FIG. 7 is a side view of another embodiment of the vertical compression packing device. The vertical embodiment of the invention comprises a base frame 1 with a deposition surface 11 and an approximately perpendicular to the deposition surface 11 disposed end wall 8, thereby defining a pressing volume 20 for trees 9. On the opposite end wall 8, a rear wall 3 is arranged. which extends at right angles from the deposition surface 11 and at the coupling between the rear wall 3 and the deposition surface can be especially tilted or removed outwards. On the deposition surface 11 there may also be arranged side walls 5 which can be reversibly displaced and removed over profile tubes.
The packing device 10 further comprises a pressing device 21 with a cover 2, the cover 2 being arranged opposite the deposition surface 11 on the end wall 8. The cover 2 is shown in FIG. 7 shown with an opposite deposition surface 11 and tear-shaped shear piece 6 projecting from the end wall 8 or consisting thereof. During the pressing process, the shear piece 6 is moved hydraulically, pneumatically or via rope or chain pull vertically along the end wall 8 in the direction towards the deposition surface 11, whereby the shear piece 6 intervenes between the profile tubes in the rear wall 3.
Alternatively, for a vertical compression packing device 10, the cover 2 or the tear-off shear 6 may be positioned opposite the deposition surface 11 on the back wall 3. In this case, the shear 6 engages between the profile pipe of the end wall 8 and moves along the back wall 3 in the direction of offset 11.
A vertical compression packing device 10 comprises a guide means 23 for fasteners 24 for easy fixing and packing of pressed bales 15. Thereby, the control device 23 has guide rails 16 through which the fasteners 24 are passed at least partially around the pressed bale 15.
DK 2018 70536 A1
In FIG. 7, the packing device 10 is suspended on a three-point suspension 4 mounted on the rear of the end wall 8, but it may alternatively also include wheels and may be located directly on the rear of the end wall 8 on the trailer coupling of a towing vehicle 14.
FIG. 8 is a side view of the one of FIG. 7 shows a vertical compression direction package, where the trees 9 are already compressed by the shear piece into a bale 15.
All embodiments of the invention may be arranged such that, for example, the guide rail 16 is manufactured as a plastic and / or metal rail along which several openings are provided in the guide rail 16. In each opening, a reversible insertable guide element such as a locking pin may be provided. or split for controlling the fastener 24. This simple embodiment of the invention allows, before packing device 10 is loaded with trees 9, that the fastener 24, e.g., a leash or band, be held in place along the guide rail 16 with the guide members. Thereafter, the packing device 10 is loaded with trees 9 and the pressing operation from trees 9 to a bale 15 is carried out. For fixing or lacing the bale 15, only the ends of the fastener 24 must now be bonded together, thereby advantageously opening the control elements and the fastener 24 being released. Thereafter, the pre-pressed and laced bale 15 can be removed.
Alternatively, all embodiments of the invention may be designed such that along each guide rail 16 are provided several reversibly attachable or clampable fasteners which serve to fix the fastener 24. For example, fasteners may be clamps. In this particularly simple embodiment, the fastening means 24, for example a string or belt, is fixed in several places along the guide rail 16 with fixing means before loading the packing device 10, the fixing means being coupled or clamped on the guide rail 16. By fixing or lacing the pressed bale 15, the fixing means loosen. advantageously by itself from the guide rail 16, releasing the fastener 24.
As further alternatives to the above-described embodiments of the control device 23, at least one of the guide rails 16 may be arranged, in particular, a retaining means movable along the guide rail 16 for reversible fastening of the fastening means.
DK 2018 70536 A1
24. For example, there may be a plurality of retaining means arranged along the guide rail 16, such as, for example, clamping devices in which the fastening means 24 can be reversibly clamped. In this case, the retaining means may be, for example, screwed or welded clamps on the guide rail 16.
Alternatively, the retaining means may also be a hook which is movable along the guide rail 16 and / or a movable clamping device for reversibly fastening one end of the fastening means 24. To this hook, a first end of the fastening means 24 may be secured and at least partially guided around the pressed bale 15 moving the hook along the guide rail 16.
The other end of the fastener 24 is optionally located, as seen in FIG.
6, in a storage unit 17 arranged on the base frame 1, from which the fastening means 24, for example a wire or string, are wound. Thereby the fastening means 24 can either be prepared in predetermined lengths, so that for fixing the pressed bale 15 only the two ends of the fastening means 24 must be connected. However, it can also advantageously be provided that the fastening means 24 is unrolled from one in the storage unit. 17, so that a portion of the fastening means 24 can be cut off flexibly according to the size of the pressed bale 15 and fixed the pressed bale 15.
Optionally, all embodiments of the invention may be designed such that the control device 23 has a motor drive driven in particular by the towing vehicle 14. The guide rails 16 are in this case designed as guide profiles for chains or ropes, where the chains pull the fasteners 24 around a pressed bale 15. For example, a hydraulic motor in this case pulls gears which engage the chains and move them along the guide rail 16. To the holding means, for example, a hook which is movably disposed adjacent the guide rail 16 is secured each time one end of the fastener 24, e.g., a string. At the end of a guide rail 16 is provided a chain catcher which prevents the retracted chain from making a pendulum movement.
In all embodiments, it is also possible that the deposition surface 11 and / or the back wall 3 and / or the side wall 5 have slots, in which the projections 12 on the tear-shaped shear 6 engage the slots in the deposition surface 11 and / or project and / or engage. in the slots in the rear wall 3.
DK 2018 70536 A1
Alternatively, in all embodiments of the invention, it may also be envisaged that the shear piece 6 is formed as a closed plate that is at right angles from the cover 2 in the direction of the deposition surface 11,
In the following, the operation of the compression process is briefly described in connection with a package device 10 with a horizontal compression direction:
Initially, the device 10 is brought to and erected at the site where the trees 9 are harvested, by means of a towing vehicle, for example a tractor. The cover 2 is opened and folded upwards around the link 13. The displacement piece 6 is pulled out completely, in front or in connection therewith, and is located at the end of the cover 2. The rear wall 3 and any side walls 5 are brought into a vertical position and adjusted with the deposition surface of the basic frame 1 11 in the desired width (Fig. 1 and Fig. 2). Now the fasteners 24, e.g. cords, ribbons, chain or ropes, are inserted into the guide rails 16 and fixed there.
Next, the trees 9, branches or loose bush material are introduced so that the trunks will be transverse to the pressing direction and, if necessary, limited by the side walls 5 (Fig. 4). The cover 2 is closed, so that the shear piece 6 is completely pulled out and should be at the rear end of the device 10 so that the cargo is not damaged (Fig. 5). During the pressing process, the shear piece 6 is now moved in the direction towards the end wall 8, approximately parallel to the deposition surface 11, until the desired packing depth is reached (Fig. 6). By virtue of the side walls 5, the press material is prevented from being pressed apart. Then the cords or ribbons are placed together in advance in the guide rails 16 and the ball is laced.
The displacement piece 6 is again pulled out in the end position, the cover 2 is folded up and the back wall 3 is folded away. The finished bales 15 can then be taken out of the device 10. Alternatively, the bales 15 with a loading device which can start moving from the end wall 8 towards the side facing the end wall 8 along the deposition surface 11 can be conveyed with the deposition surface 11. that the bales 15 are stuck, the side walls 5 can also be folded down or removed before removal.
